The Central Library is a place for learning and research. It provides useful medical books, journals, e-resources, and library services to students, faculty, researchers, and healthcare professionals.

The SBMC Central Library is located on the second floor of the institution. The library is equipped with computers and Internet connectivity for students, faculty, and researchers. The library has good lighting and is bright enough for reading and studying. It is also air-conditioned, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for reading, learning, and research. The library is maintained as a quiet and peaceful place.
The Library Circulation Counter-cum-Reception Area is located at the entrance of the library. Electronic systems are used at the counter to manage the issue and return of library books.

Each department also maintains a library to cater to the needs of faculty and students. The departmental libraries maintain an inventory of books and journals.
The Digital Library is equipped with advanced computers and a high-speed, dedicated Internet connection. The library subscribes to the NTRMEDNET Consortium and DELNET, providing access to a wide range of e-books and full-text national and international medical journals. The Browsing Centre is air-conditioned and provides a comfortable environment for students, faculty, and researchers.
